BONES' original TV anime "Darker than BLACK - Kuro no Keiyakusha" made a grand debut in early spring 2007. The anime's plot revolves around supernatural abilities and espionage activities, with the story set in the bustling metropolis of Tokyo. One day, a strange phenomenon suddenly appears in Tokyo—an unexplainable area known as "Hell's Gate." There, visitors with supernatural abilities never before encountered by humans emerge. These visitors are called "Contractors." Some have lost their sanity, and at times, they even brutally kill humans. What exactly do these "Contractors" intend to do in Tokyo...?
