The third installment in the newly animated theatrical trilogy based on Shuichi Shigeno's popular manga "Initial D." Fujiwara Takumi has now become the most talked-about street racer. Initially, Takumi had no awareness of being a street racer, showing little interest even in the AE86 he drove while helping with his family's tofu shop business or in the mountain pass battles. However, before his battle with Ryosuke Takahashi, the fastest man on Akagi, his fighting instinct began to awaken, and he noticed the changes within himself. Meanwhile, the calm and logical Ryosuke has identified the weaknesses of the AE86 and begins final adjustments on his beloved FC3S in preparation for the battle. And so, the fateful day of their confrontation arrives.
