This is the third act of the theatrical release version of the anime "Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture," which divides its 12 episodes into four acts. It is part of the popular "Code Geass" series that began with 2006's "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion," depicting the battle of the new protagonists, Rozé and Ash.
After Ash confesses to killing Sakuya Sumeragi's father, Shigeyoshi Sumeragi, Rozé begins investigating his past. She visits the orphanage where Ash grew up and hears about his history from a sister there. Ash, who had been living a cheerful life, was taken in by Neo Britannia's Norland and forced into days of being raised as an assassin. Training, assassination, failure, and loss. At the depths of despair into which Ash was plunged, he encountered Sakuya's father, Shigeyoshi Sumeragi.
Directed by Takamitsu Hirakawa, with series composition by Noboru Kimura, the project features many staff members who have worked on previous "Code Geass" series, including original character design by CLAMP and character design by Takahiro Kimura and Shuichi Shimamura. The voice cast features Kouhei Amasaki as Rozé and Shin Furukawa as Ash.
