This is an installment of the popular "Code Geass" anime series that began with "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion." It depicts the story of a new protagonist set two years after the 2019 theatrical anime "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection." This is the first act of a four-act theatrical release version, presenting a 12-episode story. Year 7 of the Kōwa era. In the occupied United States of Japan, specifically the former Hokkaido Block, there were mercenary brothers known as the "Nameless Mercenaries": Ash and Roze. The elder brother, Ash, boasts exceptional physical abilities and high piloting skills for Knightmare Frames, while the intelligent younger brother, Roze excels at information gathering and tactical command. As Carris al Britannia, the 100th Emperor of the Neo Britannian Empire, seeks to plunge the world into chaos once more, the two brothers accept a request from the resistance organization "Seven Stars." To rescue Sakura, the captive daughter of the Hokkaido Block's lord, they stand against Neo Britannia. Directed by Yoshiaki Obayashi, series composition by Noboru Kimura, original character design by CLAMP, character design by Takahiro Kimura and Shuichi Shimamura, among many other staff members who have worked on the previous series. Voice actors include Kouhei Amasaki as Roze and Shin Furukawa as Ash.
