Boneca de Atauro: Searching for the Lost Love

"Boneca de Atauro: Searching for the Lost Love" is an animated short film (20 minutes), in which the main character—a handmade rag doll named Ataurina—embarks on an adventurous journey across the island of Atauro while searching for her lost boyfriend, Ketilu. Throughout her journey, Ataurina faces various dangers and encounters other characters, all of whom are handmade puppets created by the same artisans at "Boneca de Atauro" (Atauro's Doll). This renowned cooperative of over 60 women is based in the coastal village of Vila Maumeta on the beautiful island of Atauro, Timor-Leste.
