Nelly & Caesar is a Belgian picture book series aimed at preschool children aged 2–4. The story revolves around Nelly, a mouse girl, Caesar, a frog boy, and their friends, depicting their exploration of life and nature in daily routines as well as their emotional growth. The series was adapted into a 52-episode anime co-produced by the Belgian animation studio Averbode and the French animation studio Planet Nemo, and aired in 2008. In Japan, the anime was broadcast on the CS Fuji TV ONE channel from November 9, 2010, airing every Monday to Friday from 6:00 to 6:30 (Japan Time).
