An original video animation adaptation of the fantasy novel of the same name by Mio Wakaki. It depicts the fierce, centuries-long conflict between the "Sora no Mono" (Sky People) faction and the "Ayakashi no Mono" (Phantom People) faction, each utilizing their own unique special abilities. The protagonist, Ryosuke Sakitani, a student at the private Korin High School, is an Aura Buster—a neutralizer capable of nullifying all special powers, including the jutsu-like abilities used by the "Sora no Mono" and the mystical powers wielded by the "Ayakashi no Mono." The story unfolds around Ryosuke, who serves as a trump card for the jutsu users. The animation is produced by O.L.M, with director Hajime Kamegaki also handling the direction and storyboards. Character designs are based on original concepts by Yun Kouga, who provided the illustrations for the later volumes of the original novel series.
