A double feature shown alongside "Soreike! Anpanman: Baikinman no Gyakushu". It consists of two stories: "Hitokuchi Village's Komusubiman" and "The Tanuki Ogre of the Obake Temple".
While it is the first theatrical short for "Soreike! Anpanman", it is, as the title suggests, a spin-off featuring Omusubiman as the protagonist. It is the only work in which Anpanman and Baikinman do not appear.
"Hitokuchi Village's Komusubiman": Omusubiman was continuing his training journey. During his travels, a tanuki ogre disguised as a young girl tried to eat him. Komusubiman came to his rescue. Komusubiman invited the aimless Omusubiman to his hometown, Hitokuchi Village. However, the tanuki ogre transformed into a monster and attacked Hitokuchi Village.
"The Tanuki Ogre of the Obake Temple": Omusubiman continues his journey with Komusubiman. Along the way, they are told about a ramen shop famous for being delicious. Overjoyed, Komusubiman heads for the ramen shop, but it is a trap set by the tanuki ogre and a monster living in the Obake Temple. Komusubiman is captured, and Omusubiman falls into a pitfall trap set with a boiling cauldron.
