Puss in Boots: The Three Diablos is a 2012 computer-animated short comedy film, and a sequel to Puss in Boots. It was directed by Raman Hui and features Antonio Banderas as the voice of the title character. The short was released on February 24, 2012, attached as a bonus feature to the Puss in Boots DVD and Blu-ray (3D) release.[1] The short tells a story of Puss in Boots on a mission to recover a princess' stolen ruby from the notorious French thief the Whisperer. Reluctantly accompanied by three cute little kittens called the Three Diablos, Puss must tame them before they endanger the mission.
After a series of thrilling and adventurous exploits, the swordsman Puss in Boots embarks on a new journey. This time, he arrives at a vast and magnificent wilderness. Just as he is galloping on his horse, he is stopped by a group of fully armed soldiers. After verifying his identity, Puss in Boots is led into a magnificent and solemn palace, where he meets Princess Alexandra Bellagamba. The princess is frowning and filled with sorrow, for the Heart of Molten Fire ruby from her crown has been stolen by the notorious French thief, the Whisperer. During the pursuit of the Whisperer, the guards captured the thief's three accomplices—three incredibly cute and seemingly innocent kittens. However, the princess and the guards refer to them as demons. The princess entrusts Puss in Boots with the task of extracting the location of the Whisperer's hideout from the kittens and retrieving the gem. Puss in Boots gladly agrees, but he underestimates the cunning nature of these three little cats before him...
