It blends themes of distance, tradition, art, and the desire for control into a single phone call, presented to the audience through the lens of martial arts. Voice actor Shannon Kook won the ACTRA Award for Outstanding Voice Performance for this film. The film was selected for competition at the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film, Anima Mundi, and the Melbourne International Film Festival. It was also featured as an outstanding Quebec work at the Cannes Film Festival. Additionally, it won Best Canadian Short at the Whistler Film Festival, Best Short Film at the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival, and the Audience Choice Award at the Athens Animfest.
