"Train, train, go through the tunnel; train, train, go through the tunnel." Faint, childish shouts echoed from the distant railway tunnel. It was the sound of a group of children playing a game on the tracks. The game was simple: a contest to see which of two could hold their ground the longest before an oncoming train. As the train sped past, Alexander became the "winner" with greater courage, yet it cost him a tragic life. This reckless little game irreversibly altered the lives of young Alexander and his family. Alexander suffered severe neurological damage, and his future would be exceptionally difficult. Rehabilitation therapy yielded minimal results, but to their relief, Alexander finally managed to call out "Mom and Dad" again. However, the father's departure plunged the mother and son into even deeper hardship. Year after year of rehabilitation treatments left them impoverished. The aging mother continued, as always, to take her son for therapy. When the mother and son once again stood on the tracks where the accident occurred, a train roared toward them from behind. This time, who will win?
