Tigger, who lives in the Hundred Acre Wood with his good friends, takes the big screen this time, bringing five new songs filled with magical charm. The lyrics and music are composed by the award-winning duo Richard Sherman and Robert Sherman, the perfectly synchronized songwriting pair who have previously created Disney classics such as "Mary Poppins," "The Jungle Book," and earlier "Winnie the Pooh" related films.
In this movie, the beloved Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo, Rabbit, and the ever-energetic Tigger are all busy preparing a new home suitable for winter for their donkey friend—Eeyore. Everyone is enthusiastically helping out, except for the noisy Tigger, who jumps up and down and disturbs his friends while they work. Rabbit’s well-meaning suggestion: Why doesn’t Tigger go and jump happily with other Tigger relatives? Isn’t this suggestion strange? Because Tigger has always been one of a kind! Could he have other family members? Tigger thinks: If there really are other Tiggers, that would be great! Then he could jump with them from morning till night! How wonderful!
Owl suggests that Tigger start his search from the family tree, so Tigger embarks on a journey to find his relatives. He tries to find a huge, engraved family tree in the Hundred Acre Wood. But can Tigger find other Tiggers like himself? This will rely on the help of his good friends Winnie the Pooh, Roo, and other companions to help him realize early on: his true family has been right beside him all along!
