Country girl Hanamura Monpe moves from Kagoshima to Tokyo to become a designer and ends up working as a helper at the home of popular designer Kano Maki. In the Kano household, there is a baby boy named Pē-chan who possesses supernatural powers. Monpe finds herself constantly at the mercy of Pē-chan's mischievous pranks.
