"The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" is a brand-new animated series launched by Marvel in 2011. The series brings together many classic members of the Avengers. After the world's most dangerous super-villains escape from four major prisons—the Vault, the Cube, the Big House, and the Raft—Earth's six greatest super-powered heroes voluntarily form a free-fighting alliance: the Avengers. They battle relentlessly against evil forces, with members including Hank Pym (a composite of Ant-Man and Giant-Man), Captain America, the Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, and the Wasp. Black Panther and Hawkeye will also join in later episodes. When the power of one hero is not enough to save the world, it is time for the entire team of heroes to step forward.
