This film is Disney's 4th classic animated feature. Its theme song, "Baby Mine," was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song and won the Oscar for Best Scoring of a Musical Picture. In 1981, a board game of the same name was created based on this animated character. Adapted from the work "Dumbo, the Flying Elephant" by Helen Aberson and Harold Pearl.
Dumbo is a little elephant in the circus who becomes the object of everyone's ridicule because of his blue eyes and oversized ears. To make a place for himself in the circus, one must have a special skill, but Dumbo doesn't know any, which troubles him greatly. At this time, the mouse Timothy offers him comfort and help. Once, Dumbo accidentally falls into a bucket filled with champagne and gets thoroughly drunk. This unexpected accident, however, leads Dumbo to discover that he can fly into the air by flapping his large ears. Thus, overnight, Dumbo becomes the audience's favorite little flying elephant. From then on, his mother no longer has to worry about her son's future. And Mrs. Jumbo finally regains her freedom, with mother and son living happily together ever after.
