Yoshiyuki Tomino has repeatedly revealed that his new work is a revival of the old project "Himiko Yamato," with the format still unknown and currently in the storyboard stage. The original "Himiko Yamato" project was planned to be directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino, written by Harutoshi Fukui, and produced by Haruki Kadokawa. It was later shelved due to Kadokawa's arrest and imprisonment, and the project was eventually split into three separate works: "Otoko-tachi no Yamato," "Lorelei," and "Rin Kō no Tsubasa."
