Tom tries to steal a bird but is stopped by Jerry, so he goes after Jerry instead. The bird helps Jerry escape, and the mouse and bird work together to evade Tom's pursuit, making it impossible for Tom to lay a finger on them. Tom then attaches wings and flies up to the bird's nest. Jerry warns the bird, who doesn't believe him at first, but upon seeing the flying Tom, is immediately scared out of its wits.
