During summer vacation, little girl Ni Xiangxiang visits her grandparents' Bean Sprout Farm. The originally peaceful life is disrupted by one event: a buyer from the big city has purchased almost all the large farms in the surrounding area. Her grandparents are considering selling the farm, but Xiangxiang can't bear to part with it. On the night before the contract is to be signed, Xiangxiang suddenly discovers something magical—she can understand the conversations of animals! In order to stop her grandparents from selling the farm, Xiangxiang makes up a reason: she claims to have discovered a treasure map buried underground on the farm. When the buyer Shi Laiyun and his assistant A Zhuan learn of this news, they go to great lengths and use every trick in the book to try and buy the farm.
