The anime's story directly follows the events of the *Kung Fu Panda 3* film, with Po also taking on the role of a master and accepting four disciples. After settling in the Panda Village where his biological father resides, Po takes on four exceptionally gifted students: Nu Hai, Bao, Jing, and Fan Tong. They respectively embody the Azure Dragon, the Spirit Tortoise, the White Tiger, and the Vermilion Bird, banding together to face a new antagonist, the Golden Eagle. Four energetic panda cubs fall into a cave, where they obtain chi from the legendary "Four Constellations," laying the foundation to become great heroes. Of course, these four mischievous cubs require the guidance of the Dragon Warrior, Po, to achieve their full potential. The film's villain, the Golden Eagle, was a martial arts master a thousand years ago. He was once the teacher of the Azure Dragon, Spirit Tortoise, White Tiger, and Vermilion Bird but was tempted by dark chi and fell into darkness. The "Four Constellations" sealed themselves and the Golden Eagle away, never expecting that a millennium later, the Golden Eagle would escape and seek a vulture as a physical vessel. If the Golden Eagle absorbs the "Four Constellations," he will attain his complete form, and the world will face utter destruction.
