Originally distributed in segments on BIGLOBE Stream in 2001 under the title "6 ANGELS." After its premiere at the Tokyo International Fantastic Film Festival 2001, it received a theatrical roadshow release as "Six Angels: The Movie" at Theatre Ikebukuro on July 6, 2002, as part of a program titled "Galinpeiro Tokusen Anime Gekkan," alongside "The Movie Version of Xevious" and "Theatrical Version Geisters FRACTIONS OF THE EARTH 《Chapter of Light》/《Chapter of Life》." It was also broadcast on SKY PerfecTV! on February 8, 2003.
