This film is based on the story of "Exodus" from the Old Testament of the Bible. It took four years and nearly one hundred million dollars to complete. During production, not only were the most advanced computer animations employed, but hundreds of historians and religious scholars also served as consultants for the film. It features behind-the-scenes voice acting from Hollywood stars such as Val Kilmer and Sandra Bullock, and even boasts theme songs performed by two of the music industry's biggest divas, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.
