The farm's morning was exceptionally quiet. In the grass by the pond, Mother Duck, having endured the burden all night, was weary yet content. She stood up, stretched her limbs, and then temporarily bid farewell to her precious egg, stepping into the pond to rinse her mouth and swim. Just then, the cunning and greedy Tom appeared. He stole the duck egg, intending to take it home to make fried eggs, only to discover that inside the shell was a fully hatched little duckling, Quacker. Tom quickly changed his strategy, continuously feeding Quacker white bread, preparing to make a delicious roast duck. Just as he raised the chilling kitchen knife, Quacker alertly noticed and fled in panic, hiding in Jerry's hole. Of course, Tom wouldn't allow the duck that was already in his grasp to fly away; he lay in wait at the entrance, menacingly. And the righteous Jerry felt duty-bound to step in and help Quacker...
This film is the opening work of the Tom and Jerry series in the 1950s and also marks the first appearance of the little duckling Quacker.
