Liu Shaojun, influenced by the celestial phenomenon of the Five-Star Alignment, travels from the Han Dynasty to modern times and accidentally falls into the home of Chu Xiaoman, whose father is an archaeologist. Chu Xiaoman can understand Liu Shaojun's ancient Chinese, so she takes him in and helps him search for a way to return to the Han Dynasty. In turn, Liu Shaojun uses his Han Dynasty knowledge to help Chu Xiaoman's internship magazine, "Heritage," overcome a crisis.
