Samkok Mahasanook, or the Mahasanook comic version of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, is a long-form comedic cartoon drawn by Suchart Promrungroj (Moo Ninja). It is based on the 14th-century Chinese historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It was serialized in Mahasanook magazine from 2004 to 2007 and later compiled into a total of 45 full-color comic volumes. The comic has been translated into Korean and distributed by PMG Holding Corporation Limited and Samsung Book Publisher. An animated adaptation was produced by Withita Animation and aired on Channel 7, Army Television, spanning two seasons from October 2005 to December 2006.
