Chen Yuxuan, due to his arrogant and willful nature, is sent by his parents to experience life in an old revolutionary base area. There, he unexpectedly discovers a "Jimaoxin" (a letter with a feather attached, historically used as an urgent message during wartime). The letter’s owner, Grandpa Zhao, recounts the story of how he (as a boy named Haiwa) and Erxiao once delivered such a Jimaoxin during the War of Resistance. Through the intertwining of his life experience and the inspiration drawn from the story, Chen Yuxuan grows and ultimately becomes a responsible young man.
