The second season of the CCTV Animation series "Star Dream," themed around the "Chinese Dream," consists of 117 episodes, divided into the first 26 episodes titled "Inspirational Chapter" and the subsequent 91 episodes titled "Dream Chapter Part 2." The first 26 episodes, "Inspirational Chapter," each 22 minutes long and directed by Guo Bin, tell the inspirational story of five children who meet the star "Shanshan" and work together to achieve their respective dreams and wishes. The following 91 episodes, "Dream Chapter Part 2," each 5 minutes long and directed by Kang Xiaolin, continue the style of the 2015 first season's Dream Chapter, employing different animation production styles, with each episode presenting a unique short story about fulfilling children's dreams together.
