On the eve of the Monkey Year's Spring Festival, Little Head Dad's busy work life leads him to neglect caring for Big Head Son. An additional mistake causes Big Head Son to lose his beloved gift, creating a rift between father and son. After much contemplation, Little Head Dad decides to disguise himself as his son's favorite robot in an attempt to mend their relationship indirectly. Under the robot's exterior, Little Head Dad seems to unlock a hidden superpower, accomplishing feats he never could before and becoming a hero in the eyes of the children. As the two gradually adjust to each other, Big Head Son grows increasingly attached to the "robot," and through it, he begins to understand the care and protection his father has always provided.
During an unexpected incident, Big Head Son accidentally discovers an old design draft that Little Head Dad had drawn long ago—a masterpiece he had poured his heart into but missed submitting for a design competition due to Big Head's birth. With the help of the robot, Big Head Son assists Little Head Dad in fulfilling his long-held dream, ultimately winning the design award. When the robot reveals its true identity, the rift between father and son vanishes completely. As the Monkey Year's Spring Festival arrives, amidst the joyous sounds of firecrackers, Big Head Son and Little Head Dad laugh and sing together, savoring the happiest moment of the year.
