25-year-old college student Ui-jun works part-time at a convenience store, facing daily threats from his main customers—a group of troublemakers. Every time he greets them, he can’t help but tremble, yet the high hourly wage is too tempting to give up. One day during his shift, Ui-jun gets into trouble, but a man named Gun-woo unexpectedly helps him out. Ui-jun has always admired those who stand up for others, so he feels deeply grateful toward Gun-woo. From then on, Ui-jun notices Gun-woo frequently coming in to buy cigarettes and alcohol. But ever since Gun-woo bought “that item,” Ui-jun can no longer see him the same way as before.
