This series tells the legendary tale of eight individuals—Li Xuan, Lü Dongbin, Iron-Crutch Li, Han Xiangzi, He Xiangu, and others—who attained enlightenment and became immortals. Along their journey to immortality, there were both tears and laughter. They battled demons and monsters, eliminated tyrants, fought for justice on behalf of the common people, and aided the poor and those in distress. By eliminating distractions, resisting temptations, and devoting themselves to cultivation, they ultimately achieved their true destiny.
