The first TV anime from Toei Doga (now Toei Animation), a wildly popular jungle adventure romance. This is the first installment of its theatrical version. Africa, suffering from food shortages due to a cosmic-scale natural disaster. The one who saved the animals living there was the boy Ken, known as the "Two-Legged Wolf." However, Ken is not considered a full-fledged member by his fellow wolves because he lacks fangs. He sets out with his friend, a wolf cub named Poppo, to meet the Silver Lion, who is said to grant fangs. Meanwhile, in the jungle, talk spreads about a magician named Tamatan from a tribe called the Emma. But this Tamatan is actually... 　This film is an edit of Episode 2 "The Silver Lion" and Episode 3 "The Magician Tamatan" from the early part of the TV series. It was released only in the Tokyo area as a double feature with Toei Doga's new theatrical anime "Wan Wan Chushingura." The positive reception led to Toei Animation's subsequent theatrical releases often being edits or blow-up versions of TV works.
