"The Star" is merely a working title, not the official name of this film. Originally titled "The Lamb," the movie is directed by Timothy Reckart, the Oscar-nominated director of the animated short "Head Over Heels." It follows the story of a brave little donkey and his animal companions, portraying the nativity of Jesus from their perspective. The Jim Henson Company, renowned for its puppet films, will co-produce the movie alongside Sony Animation.
