"Yatterman" (English notation: Yatterman) is a television anime produced by Yomiuri TV and Tatsunoko Production, broadcast on the Nippon TV network from January 14, 2008, to September 27, 2009. Including limited editions, it comprises a total of 62 episodes. It is a remake of the "Yatterman" series that aired from 1977 to 1979 (hereinafter referred to as the "first series"), but it does not carry the "Yatterman Series" title. It is also the first remake within the Yatterman series. The objective of the search has changed from the first series' "four Skull Stones" to "collecting a certain number of Skull Rings" in this work, leading the characters to travel around the world in pursuit of them. Additionally, various elements differ from those of the first series. It not only pays homage to the Yatterman series but also references many Tatsunoko anime works, making it a culmination of Tatsunoko's animation legacy.
