Produced by Zhejiang National Animation Design Institute. Five youths from the central Soviet area of the Red Base established a small Red Army unit, embarking on a challenging, arduous, yet fascinating journey to find the Red Army on the Long March. The series carries a positive theme and serves as an excellent work for educating children about revolutionary history and patriotism.
The "Young Communist International Division," established in 1933, was the youngest unit in the Red Army's Long March, with an average age of 18. "Little Red Army's Long March" is based on the young soldiers of the "Young Communist International Division," combining traditional Chinese painting, particularly the expressive style of comic strips, to portray the characters of Long Yazi, Shuangxi, Niugulao, Ximeizi, and Zhaodi. It showcases their wit, bravery, resilience, and revolutionary spirit of sacrificing for their ideals.
