At Flower Flower Farm lives a group of happy little sheep, who enjoy a carefree and blissful life every day. Xiao Ma, Xiao Mei, Da Pang, and Xiao Liang are students at Flower Flower Farm’s Pumpkin Elementary School. One day, Xiao Ma, Da Pang, and the others hear unexpected news from the principal: Flower Flower Farm’s Winding Grass-Sliding Field will host the Area A selection round for the National Grass-Sliding Competition. This marks the first time in ten years that Flower Flower Farm has hosted a grass-sliding selection event. Thus, Xiao Ma and Xiao Liang form Flower Flower Farm’s first grass-sliding team in over a decade and sign up for the Pasture Area selection round. At first, Xiao Ma sees participating in the selection round merely as a way to meet his idol, so his training is lazy and half-hearted, while Xiao Liang trains seriously from the start, meeting the standards of a true grass-sliding athlete. One day, Xiao Ma and Xiao Liang encounter A Long and Xiao Yu from Tomato Garden Elementary School of Green Mountain Farm, who have come to the Winding Grass-Sliding Field to familiarize themselves with the venue. Xiao Ma and A Long don’t see eye to eye, leading to an impromptu match between the two. The result is a crushing defeat for Xiao Ma, who loses miserably. A Long mocks Xiao Ma and Xiao Liang, saying that sheep are only good for eating grass and are not suited for grass-sliding. This failure deeply wounds Xiao Ma’s pride. Xiao Mei seeks out Uncle Da to help Xiao Ma and Xiao Liang improve their grass-sliding skills—it turns out that Uncle Da from A Gui’s Shop was once a formidable grass-sliding athlete in his youth. With Uncle Da’s guidance and everyone’s encouragement, Xiao Ma and Xiao Liang train diligently, and their grass-sliding skills improve by leaps and bounds. Xiao Ma also comes to appreciate the joy of grass-sliding. To advance to the national competition, animals from pastures across all areas are actively training and preparing. As the Pasture Area selection round is about to begin, Xiao Ma no longer views participation merely as a way to meet his idol—he now sees himself as a true grass-sliding athlete. For the honor of Flower Flower Farm and Pumpkin Elementary School, and to prove that sheep can indeed excel at grass-sliding, Xiao Ma and Xiao Liang finally embark on the intense journey of the selection competition.
