As time passes and children grow older, the toys that once accompanied them through many joyful moments—whether worn out or outdated—gradually become forgotten and discarded. The young boy Ondra has been accompanied since childhood by his teddy bear toy, Kuky. However, Kuky has become frayed and torn, and as a non-washable toy, the dust and fibers clinging to it trigger Ondra's asthma attacks. Though Ondra is utterly unwilling, his mother insists on throwing Kuky away. As night falls, Ondra clasps his hands together, sincerely praying that Kuky can escape the landfill.
As if sensing something in the unseen, Kuky, lying in the pile of garbage, stands up, evading the crusher's assault and escaping the clutches of the plastic army. He makes his way to a vast forest, where he encounters the forest's guardian captain, the Curse God. With the Curse God's help, he embarks on a perilous journey back home...
