The rowdy and crazy Milo and the timid, introverted Oscar are a pair of brothers, and together with the eye-catching Bea, they are best friends. They all attend Freshwater High, surrounded by a group of unique classmates, including the annoying Shellsea. Living in a fish tank inside a pet store, they also have to face the typical troubles of adolescence—love, friendship, dating, and of course, attacks from giant lobsters. Under the guidance of their teachers, including the mighty Mr. Muscles and the knowledgeable Mr. Glowfish, they overcome one challenge after another.
