To defeat the Phantom Monster and defend their homeland, Emerald Bay, Rainbow Bear Bailey, Mei, and four others journey to the "Rainbow Bear Energy School" deep within the Joyful Jungle to learn skills, science, and independent living. During their time at the school, the students must tackle challenges issued by their teachers while also fending off the Phantom Monster's frequent harassment and attacks. In the end, Rainbow Bear Bailey and his five companions triumph over the Phantom Monster.
