American Dragon: Jake Long is an animated series produced by Disney in the United States. The final episode of the series aired on September 1, 2007. The show primarily follows Jake Long as he protects the magical creature community around him. It mainly aired on Disney Channel and Disney's One Saturday Morning (now Disney XD). American Dragon: Jake Long was created by Jeff Goode. Disney initially ordered 21 episodes, each 30 minutes long, written by him as the first season. The animation premiered on Disney Channel UK on January 4, 2005, and began airing on Disney's One Saturday Morning in February 2006. It was also broadcast on Family Channel in Canada and on seven stations in Australia. It made a crossover appearance in the 64th episode of Lilo & Stitch, ending in a tie with Stitch.
