Beneath the streets of Italy lie the catacombs of the Montresors, filled with barrels of wine and the bones of the dead. One evening, friends Fortunado and Montresor descend beneath the city, lured by the promise of the rare vintage Amontillado. Based on the short story by Edgar Allan Poe, Fortunado and Montresor become entangled in a web of betrayal and revenge, forever altering the course of their friendship.
