In the forest, the innocent and adorable little elephant Horton (voiced by Jim Carrey) happily enjoys his carefree life every day. But one day, a startling discovery completely changes his life and even his cute image in the eyes of all the animals. The residents of "Whoville," a tiny speck of dust, live a peaceful life until one day, they are struck by a fruit, and their entire "small world" is flung into the sky, eventually landing on a pink clover flower. The faint cries for help from this "tiny world" are unexpectedly heard by the large, plump elephant Horton. As a result, Horton becomes convinced that there is life on this "speck of dust" and communicates in his own unique way with the "Mayor" of Whoville (voiced by Steve Carell) from the small world. To save the residents of this tiny world on the speck of dust, Horton decides to risk being mocked by all the animals and endure the stigma of being labeled a "delusional patient" in order to return Whoville to their rightful world...
