Based on my true memories, many streets and buildings rich in folk characteristics were hastily eliminated during urban development. The individuals who grew up in these streets also faced similar dilemmas—having to abandon personal preferences and individuality to follow the so-called correct path. This short film documents my childhood recollections while expressing the confusion I experienced growing up as one of these individuals. In the end, the child becomes a well-behaved child, and the city transforms into a clean, modern, and civilized metropolis. Yet, those sincere emotions and local memories have unknowingly faded away.
