Adapted from the comic by Tsai Chih-chung
Consists of four short stories:
1. "What the Eyes See." A man blinded by greed snatches gold in broad daylight, losing all sense of reason.
2. "The Thief in the Heart." Suspecting his neighbor's child of stealing his axe, only to realize it was a subjective assumption.
3. "Fortune and Misfortune." Two acrobats with equal skill meet opposite fates, determined solely by the ruler's shifting moods.
4. "Fish and Integrity." A man who loves fish refuses to eat it to avoid owing favors, upholding his principles.
