The new season continues Shaun’s widely beloved style of humor and comedy. This season, superstar Shaun, little lamb Timmy, farm manager Bitzer, and the flock will embark on missions to snatch a teddy bear, defend pumpkins against a snail army, and even “try their hooves” at pizza delivery service! The money-obsessed Farmer, as always, schemes to make a profit—transforming Mossy Bottom Farm into a petting zoo to attract visitors, renting out the sheep pen as a farmstay experience, and even accidentally becoming an internet celebrity! New characters this season include an extremely energetic squirrel named Stash, a “mission-critical” delivery worker Rita, and the Farmer’s greatest rival yet: his handsome and successful neighbor farmer, Ben. Ben’s guard dog Lexi, somewhat “basking in reflected glory,” exudes a sense of superiority inherited from her owner, which adds considerably to Bitzer’s troubles.
