In a rugged town in the American West, a carriage has just delivered a bag of gold coins. The rude and overbearing sheriff locks the gold in a safe and warns Deputy Droopy to stay vigilant, ensuring no petty thieves get a chance to steal it. Unbeknownst to them, their conversation is overheard by two outlaws—one fat, one thin—hiding outside. While the sheriff rests up front, the two sneak into the police station, looking for an opportunity to steal. They are terrified of making any noise, so whenever they get hurt and can’t hold back a scream, they run far out into the wilderness away from the town to let it out.
