Poil is a little girl raised by a powerful dragon. But when her father must pay the Sorcenouille with his second most precious possession, he offers Poil, plunging his daughter into endless sorrow and forcing her to flee the family cave. Poil then embarks on a journey to discover the world of humans. Through her interactions with them, she learns about friendship and solidarity, but also about the greed that seems to gnaw at the hearts of men.
