Ten years ago, Storm's father was captured by the invading Dr. Kuanglan during a battle, and Storm's hometown, Blue Tiger Village, vanished along with him. Now, Storm has become the captain of the Cosmic Guard and accidentally learns that his father, Fenglei, and Dr. Kuanglan might be trapped in an alternate dimension—a planet located in a parallel universe. Thus, Storm and his companions create a temporal rift to travel to this alternate dimension and find the missing Blue Tiger tribe. It turns out that the energy fluctuations caused by Dr. Kuanglan ten years ago accidentally transported both him and Blue Tiger Village to this alternate dimension. Dr. Kuanglong has imprisoned many Blue Tiger villagers for experiments, including Storm's father, Fenglei. Storm rescues his father, who has been tortured into amnesia, but when they open the temporal rift to return to Earth, Dr. Kuanglan also manages to return. He leads his Fire Dinosaur Army in another attempt to conquer Earth. In this moment of crisis, Storm awakens the amnesiac Fenglei, and together, father and son lead the other members of the Cosmic Guard to defeat Dr. Kuanglan and the Fire Dinosaur Army, ensuring Earth's safety.
