On a stormy night, a mysterious old sailor named Billy Bones arrives at the Admiral Benbow Inn, run by the young boy Jim Hawkins and his mother. Attacked by pirates known as the "Black Dog," Billy entrusts Jim with an important document, urging him to protect it from "Long John," before breathing his last... What Billy handed over was a map to Treasure Island, where the great pirate Captain Flint had hidden his treasure. Jim sets sail for Treasure Island aboard the schooner Hispaniola. But he can’t help feeling uneasy about the ship’s one-legged cook, John Silver. Jim suspects Silver might be the "Long John" Billy feared, but after witnessing Silver defeat the Black Dog right before his eyes, he stops doubting him and grows close to Silver instead. The voyage proceeds smoothly, with Treasure Island now within reach. Just then, rumors begin to circulate that the crew is plotting a mutiny. Jim and Silver investigate and conclude the mutiny talk is just a misunderstanding. However, that night, Jim accidentally falls into an apple barrel and witnesses an unbelievable scene...
