The film is adapted from the online novel of the same name by Fan Dawang. It tells the story of the female protagonist Wang Jiexiang, who enters a fantastical island and encounters her ex-boyfriend Yin Xian, who has been turned into a rabbit. The amnesiac rabbit begs the heroine to save him from the island, and the two embark on an adventurous journey together.
