This is a theatrical release of four short stories from the OVA's second season: "I Am Sometimes a Cat, Sometimes a Fish," "Hurricane! Transformation Girl Akane," "Love Stage HEART ON FIRE! Spring is an Idol," and "Love Stage HEART ON FIRE! A Star is Born." Preceding the video release, it was screened from December 16, 1989, at two theaters: Theatre Ikebukuro in Tokyo and Tamaizumi Toho in Osaka.
