"The Chronicles of Prince Ceylon's Journey East" is based on the historical events of Zheng He's voyages to the West and the story of a prince from the Kingdom of Ceylon who traveled across the oceans to China. It follows the protagonist, Prince Ceylon, who, inspired by the allure of China's advanced culture, voluntarily requests to be sent as an envoy to China to study its advanced culture and technology, ultimately fulfilling his mission. Through the medium of animation, the work incorporates the ancient Eastern power and wisdom of China into the protagonist's fascinating and extraordinary adventures, vividly showcasing the cultural history of countries along the Maritime Silk Road. Additionally, it features a specially designed "Light of Chinese Civilization" knowledge segment tailored to the appreciation preferences of children and adolescents, helping them understand the historical origins and contemporary significance of the "Belt and Road" cooperation initiative.
